You have several choices ahead of you for what to do next. Our journey took us to Gumdrop Park where a complimentary bag of candy awaited us. At night, the park takes on a new look as the installations light your way through each art display. Our tread through Majestic Grove lead us into a tunnel filled with mirrors. Our favorite was stepping into Art Pop Lane for a run around giant lollipops and a chance to sit next to a life size neon kangaroo. When traveling through Sugar Rush you can expect to experience six different themed installations. Each bright corridor leads to a themed, colorful set design built with large floats, interactive inflatable tube men and magical performers with whimsical costumes and a knack for knowing your favorite candy. A complete Candytropolis with over 40,000 square feet (just under a half mile) of colorful visuals and dancing sugar fairies, Sugar Rush offers a walk-through experience into a land made for your imagination. Families, small groups and pet friendly, it appeals to a variety of candy dreamers. Parking was a reasonable $20 and we appreciated that there was plenty of free ev chargers (tesla and regular).Open air, photo ops and sweets, Sugar Rush tickles the fancy of any inner child. The pool is small but nice and very warm and there's a cool outdoor area with seating, giant Jenga and Cornhole which we enjoyed playing. The food was delicious as was the coffee and the buffet includes made to order eggs which was nice. We ate breakfast there both days of our stay off the menu and also the buffet. We had a two queen suite and it had a large seating area, a good sized bathroom and a wet bar and fridge. The rooms are all oversized one room suites (I believe they're all pretty much the same with the exception of being one king or two queen). The property is slightly dated but well kept and the staff were all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It's only a block or so from the monorail which we used but next time I'd just walk to the Strip (the monorail is a pain to access and the amount of walking just to get on And off makes just walking not much more work). It's relatively close to the strip while feeling removed and much more quiet. The location is right by the Convention centre close to the North End of tbe Strip. We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Definitely won't stay again, but it wasn't horrible. You can walk out of the hotel directly onto Freemont street and that was great, also the ****** offered great drinks that were inexpensive. The overpriced Dunkin Donuts was actually really a treat after a lack of sleep. It was at the very end of the strip, so getting to it was easy, it was around 20-25 minutes from Caesar's Palace. ![]() Positives: Cheap drinks, clean place (hotel part, ****** area), good customer service, and easy Valet service. ![]() The bed was dressed with a mattress pad, flat sheet and thin comforter, no fitted sheet which was kind of odd. The bathroom was small and dirty, hair all over the bathtub. ![]() I should have asked for a new room, but I was passing thru and it was cheap for the day that I was there for, so I did not ask for a room change (never again). Absolutely no noise or sound barriers, so if you have a room like I was placed in, near the bands and music and the zip line, bring noise cancelling headphones or something, the windows had cold air coming thru, so maybe they were not replaced during the room re-model? They do have black out curtains, but in certain rooms (like the one I was in) you could hear absolutely EVERYTHING!! The people yelling, the band going until 5am. 0.75km from downtown 2 major downfalls: 1.
